M; Let’s see…..it’s hard to say but Japanese has different two meanings for crying “泣く” and ” 鳴く” but in English has crying and singing each other. Can you understand?
S; Nope!
M; Then you can understand 「ないてるよ」for singing.
S; Okay. They’re not crying but singing.
M; That’s right! Good boy!
