Park on the roof

M; It was almost cloudy and partly sunshine but windy and comfortable on the roof.

F; Are you talking about the park on the roof of the prefecture museum “Onomatopoeia”?

M; Yeah…kids are so much fun for two hours there. My three grandkids were having great time but 6 months baby was sitting in the baby cart.

F; They need playing and so much fun to grow well.

M; I’m thinking let them free walk in the town because I have a job in the afternoon today.

F; They can walk or taking loop tram on and off.

M; Yeah…they love it mostly.

Sunday off

M; Yesterday I had to watch the repair of the celling by the carpenter caused by the rain leak, instead my daughter took a visit to her friends. So I had free from their care for half of the day.

F; Did you take the time to watch the repairmen?

M; No. It took about two hours. I had a good free time to go playing indoor golf. I had good refreshment for a while.

F; That sounds nice of you. You need rest after two weeks.

M; Yeah…I did! Tomorrow I’ll take them to the Onomatope park.

Science Art Museum

M; It was announced rainy yesterday so we went to the indoor amusement.

The Science Art Museum is one of the government supportive facility “going out with grandkids“ for grandparents.

F; What does it mean?

M; It’s a good project to care children for grandparents to go out with by no free.

F; That’s a good policy, isn’t it?

M; Yes, I and my two grandkids were free and my daughter only paid for the entry.

F; Did the kids enjoy there?

M; Yeah…they enjoyed special plan of VR driving corner by the University students, dinosaurs’ exhibitions and planetarium in there and swings in the small park.

F; It might stimulate their ability!

Kaiohmaru & Kaioh no Yu

M; It was good weather to the sea coast and playing in the park for the kids.

F; Did you go to Kaiohmaru park yesterday?

M; Yes, kids enjoyed the view of the sea and athletic play field. They almost got sweat and after lunch we took a bath at Kaioh no Yu.

There is an octopus slide slope at the open air bath. Kids can play in the shallow water.

There is also mud pack trial and took picture.

F; Wow…it seems interesting.

You had a very wonderful time!

M; Yes, or no… because grandkids are still small even 4-year-old Jace is having panic and noisy bothering us during for a while. So we couldn’t take time so long.

Thanks for the care

M; It’s been almost two weeks since my daughter and her kids came to Japan.

F; Oh…are they staying with you quite a long period, they aren’t?

M; Yeah…, I almost spent time with them and helping a lot.

F; Aren’t you okay with you?

M; Thanks for your concern with me. Actually I’ve been busy with them and somehow stressful when kids are too naughty but it’s gone soon because they’re innocent.

F; I guess children sitting is very hard even for experienced grandparents.

M; I know that mother is everything for kids. They don’t listen to others when they are upset.

F; I understand they are powerful.

M; They need playing hard at least once a day even in bad weather.

F; What’s your plan for today?

M; I’m going to take them Kaiohmaru park and then take a bath in Kaioh no Yu to have relax time.

F; That’s sounds nice.

Big appetite

M; Yesterday it was fine but I had to to clean my mother’s old house because it needed to mend on the roof and ceiling. It’s 43 year-old.

F; It’s so disastrous!

M; Yeah… I asked my daughter to help to put into garbages and made more than 10 packs of plastic bags.

F; What about your grandkids during the cleaning.

M; My daughter-in-law helped them to play with her kids.

F; That sounds good cooperation, doesn’t it?

M; Yeah…, I invited them for Yakimiku “Keyaki” and ice cream shop “Imoya” for dessert.

F; They seem big appetite!

Park in the rain

M; It was rainy all the day so I took them to the Outlet Park in Oyabe.

F; How far is it from here.

M; It’s about 45Km takes an hour by car.

F; Did your grandkids like there?

M; Hmmm….,it’s not for kids but my daughter wanted to buy something to wear. It was a bit long way drive so they fell asleep on the way back home.

F; When it’s raining they can’t play outside so big shopping center is good exercise to walk for adults, too.

M; Actually, it was not so crowded as the weekends. We could go shopping around easily without waiting.

F; You’re right. It’s terrible to go shopping on the holiday. You can’t find even the parking area, too stressful.

Portrum, Centrum and Maidohaya

M; Yesterday we went to on a round trip to the downtown by Portrum, Centrum and returned back to Maidohaya bus. We didn’t use a car but walking and got public transportation.

F; It’s a good model of smart city, isn’t it?

M; Yeah..,using car is easy and convenient but dared to take times to walk and seeing the sights.

Of course 4-year-old Jace really likes railroad vehicles much better than cars.

F; How much time did it take to the destination?

M; Well..,we left home around 9:30 and walk 15 minutes and took Portrum for 10 minutes then got Centrum for 10 minutes to the ground plaza at 10:30.

F; How you and your daughter took them to let go ?

M; Jace can walk by himself but 2-year-old Emmie got on buggy all the way.

F; It seems tough to take two small kids…huh?

M; Indeed…we had to make effort to take small kids to enjoy their excursion and lunch.

F; It might be their good memory.

M; Hope so.

Kids care

M; I’m getting tired because I’ve been spending time irregularly for a week with my daughter’s kids 24 hours seven days and two more weeks later on.

F; I understand what you mean. Parents sometimes feel tired with kids and grandparents also do like that!

M; Kids make room messy with toys and foods all my house, finally I get mad with their rudeness and have to be a angry grandma.

F; Kids care is really hard work, isn’t it?

M; Yesterday my four grandkids were together in the play ground and exciting time out of the house.

F; They seem to be tireless.

M; Yeah…Indeed.
