ONODA

I watched the movie of ONODA released last year having got a prize on the International Film Festival in Cannes. I was interested in it but not a chance to watch it.

Fortunately I found it for a short period from Aug13 to 19 on HOTORI ZA.

I went to watch the movie yesterday. It was very heart breaking and aching on WWW II. He had a secret mission of Nakano special agent school for a short period and being a brave soldier survived having Japanese spirit from 1944 to 1974. He never gave up his mission having been alone, loyal and hope.

His life seems very miserable but he got a glorious life in his rest of life until 91-year-old in Brazil.

It’s no mean to blame the war but it’s very amazing of his great spirit to obey the mission to survive never dying nor committed suicide during the war by his commander. I was crying in my heart how much pain to have lost his fellows in the end. I’m not sure how much effect in my life just have known the history of the past days..,I can’t bear such a life…to tell the truth😭

Anyway when I left the theater it was heavy rain storm outside…so I delayed the tram when it got calm about 2:00 pm. But when I hot home my garden was heavily destroyed by the storm😵

The big grown kikuimo anout 120cm tall was fallen down from the roots. My heart was broken again😹

Flowering tea

I’ve given two packs of flowering tea from a neighborhood in my apartment. She was given a present for Mother’s Day from her daughter because her daughter knew her mother loves herb tea such as flowering tea so well.

Oh…I was luckily given a part of her happiness 😻

This morning I drink marigold flower tea.💕

I’m really loving and sweet this morning even muggy hot 🥵 outside after the watering.

I try to pick some flowers of marigold and wash and dry outside….it’s just from my curiosity 😋

Windy morning

I got up early and went to the grave this morning around 5:00 am. It’s getting to sunrise and no car on the street. I drove for about 30 minutes and washed and cleaned the stone with brush & detergent. Today is my father’s Memorial Day a little before the Bon period. I’ve used to go to the grave on the day because it’s not crowded and silent alone by myself in the cemetery. I gave sincere service from my heart 💕🙏

“Thank you, Dad. You’re my love forever. I miss you so much🥲 “

It’s my precious appreciation to my ancestors, too. I was given birth because of you. And still now living my life because of you. Can’t help refraining to say the word “Thank you”.

When I got home and got out to the veranda to water the plants, and found a mantis staying in front of the veranda. It was staying still for the moment during I was watching it. So I left there out of its sight. It was slowly moving to the side of the window….I was wondering if I should take it away to the green but I let it leave even having problems in the concrete floor blown by the wind. Everything should be done by nature! I won’t help it but observe to survive except in danger.

I hope it’ll be fine and safe finally👍 I believe nature organizes the life.😊

I also say “Thank you”.

After the heavy rain

Good Morning ☀️

Mr.Matsui said it’s really fine morning after the heavy rain today. I felt very cool and fresh in the early morning. I picked some blackberries and cut several leaves of lemongrass which I enjoy for morning tea.

I really like these fresh mint and glasses for some tea in this season. so I dried them to stock for other season to drink tea.

I also like to make basil sauce from basil leaves but it’s so poor this season because of bad growth and bugs’ eating such as glass hoppers or 🐛 😣

I also found a Japanese gold bug on the leaf of olive 🫒 which used to be bad bugs to eat leaves of hydrangeas, azaleas and blackberries…😠…they eat every leaves of my garden except rosemary, lavender and marigolds.

My garden is like wild park for every living things🤣

Summer break

It’s rainy from last night.

It’s a good rest for us to water or taking care of plants.

I’m so relaxed at home without AC and enjoying cool breeze outside.

I picked some of the flowers of the ending in summer …they’re the last bloom this season.

I just put them in the plastic bottle and seeing their color. Their natural beauty is special each year.
