I was given great gifts 🎁 by friends.
One is rhododendron and the other is lily flower.
Both are grown by the affectionate and beautiful mind to take care like their babies.
Plants and flowers are genuine and pure without reward nor trade but just for being honest.
You know they’re created by warm and gentle heart ❤️

I cut hydrangea in the water last month. It has tiny roots.
I make it plant in the planter. it’s the only one which had flowers this year.
I like it very much and hope it will have more flowers next year🥰
It’s so amazing to see the growth of weeds so rapidly where I didn’t notice.
The one I found is what I had kept watching and observed but finally no flowers with tall height. Finally I pulled it away several years ago. I didn’t know the name of the plant but it looks like carrot leaf not so bad.
It’s already more than 50cm high and branch is thick enough as the same as tomatoes😆
I want to know its name though I searched on the net…it says “yabujirami” “oyabunirami” or “shaku”. They have flowers at last but this one is only leaves and higher up in the sky. It’ll be more than 1m until being cut down by the strong wind.
Only one stands by itself….no gathering🤔
I’ll keep and observe it for a while.
It’s wet and humid, typical rainy season, isn’t it? The weather forecast says it’ll be raining for a week from tomorrow.
I don’t need to water this morning but continues weeding among with moss and in the colony of clover ☘️
I picked some sprouts of lavender and shibazakura a month ago. Some of them are having roots then I replant them in the ground.
Hope they’ll grow in rainy season🤗
I see the growth of plants and fruits each day. It’s season growing❣️
The blackberry is also growing but it seems a bit worse than usual. I feel they are late to grow this year…the fruits are smaller and not so good shape. I’m afraid it has been cooler than ever.
But today is very wet and warm this morning. I didn’t give water because it’s wet on the ground.
I tend to make them die to give much water in the planter😆.
I hope much sunshine dry them up👌
I picked leaves from the basil, Japanese mint Shido and leak.
I’m thinking about using them🤔
For example basil is very good much with tomato, cheese and avocado in salad🥗 , Shiso is good much with tofu “hiya yakko, somen or anything seasoning for Japanese food. Leaks are useful miso soup👍
I love kitchen vegetable 🥰
When I finished weeding and throwing garbage away on my way back, happened to find a dragonfly was staying on the fan outside.
It’s a very big one about more than 10cm tall and it’s called “Oniyanma”,never have seen recently!
I wonder where it comes from🤔
I hope it’ll be not found to be eaten by the enemies 🦅🕷🐍🦎

I have been weeding for more than 2 hours🙃 Once I started weeding, can’t stop doing it because weeds are endless from tiny sprouts to bigger and taller flowery ones.
They’re so energetic and strong. Especially I make battle with Urajirochichikogusa which are spread all over the land next to my garden. I was weeding in the land not my garden why my area is getting invaded with weeds from next to the land 😏
It’s the best protection to guard my garden.
Anyway…at this time yesterday we had great lunch at Ajanta. I didn’t eat any meal but snacks at night 😝

I heard that the wealthy leaves need to cut the top and make them lower and fat not be so tall. It’s called “ Tekishin “.
I tried it for the first time for the basil leaves. This is the second one.
The first one is getting rich and very nicely.

I wish they could grow well and give me much basil leaves this year, too😘
Today is summer solstice, the longest day of the year.
I woke up 5:30 am as usual. It’s so nice to see the sunlight from the window though it was not sunshiny until around 8:00am. But I love the bright morning in the rainy season.
I feel great to be in the longest day…but from tomorrow the early sunrise would be getting to lose.😴
Anyway the first day of summer is here💕
